Spiced Apple Crumble Oats

Ingredients
For the oats:

1 cup rolled oats

2 cups milk (or plant-based milk)

1 apple, diced

1 tbsp maple syrup (optional)

1 tsp Aromi Cinnamon Kisses blend

Pinch of salt
For the crumble topping:

¼ cup rolled oats

1 tbsp almond meal or plain flour
-
1 tbsp butter or coconut oil
-
1 tsp brown sugar or maple syrup

Instructions

Make the crumble:
In a small pan, toast the crumble ingredients over medium heat for 3–4 minutes until golden and fragrant. Stir often to avoid burning. Set aside. -
Cook the oats:
In a saucepan, combine oats, milk, diced apple, cinnamon spice blend, maple syrup (if using), and a pinch of salt. Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring often, for 8–10 minutes or until creamy and the apples have softened. -
Serve:
Divide the oats between two bowls. Top with the cinnamon crumble and an extra drizzle of maple syrup if desired. -
Optional extras:
Add a spoonful of Greek yoghurt, chopped walnuts, or a splash of cream for extra indulgence.
