✨ Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • Bursting with herby flavour thanks to Green Celebration

  • Juicy and tender chicken patties that don't dry out

  • Meal-prep friendly – make the patties ahead of time

  • Perfect for BBQs, weeknight dinners, or easy lunches

🛒 Ingredients

  • 500g chicken mince

  • 2 tablespoons Aromi Green Celebration spice blend

  • 1 small red onion, finely diced

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 egg

  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Olive oil, for cooking

To Serve:

  • Burger buns

  • Lettuce leaves

  • Tomato slices

  • Cucumber ribbons

  • Mayonnaise or herbed yoghurt sauce

👩🍳 Instructions

  1. Mix the burger patties:
In a large bowl, combine the chicken mince, Green Celebration spice blend, diced onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Use your hands or a spoon to gently mix until just combined (don't overmix).

  2. Shape the patties:
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into burger patties.

  3. Cook the burgers:
Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4–5 minutes per side, or until golden and cooked through.

  4. Assemble the burgers:
Toast your burger buns lightly if you like. Spread with mayonnaise or herbed yoghurt sauce, add lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and top with your herby chicken patty. Close the burger with the top bun.

  5. Serve immediately and enjoy every juicy, herby bite!

🌿 Tips for Success

  • Don't overwork the meat:
Mixing too much can make your patties dense. Gently combine just until everything sticks together.

  • Want it even juicier?
Add a tablespoon of Greek yoghurt or ricotta to the burger mix.

  • Going low-carb?
Skip the bun and serve your herb chicken burger in a lettuce wrap!
