Greek Chicken Pitas with Santorini Sea Spice

Looking for a fresh and easy dinner? These Greek Chicken Pitas are packed with bright Mediterranean flavours — juicy grilled chicken seasoned with oregano, lemon, and Aromi’s Santorini Sea spice blend, stuffed into warm pita bread with creamy tzatziki. Simple, quick, and seriously satisfying!

🕒 Prep Time:

  • 15 minutes (plus marinating time if you like)

  • Cook Time: 10–12 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 500g chicken thighs or breast fillets

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano

  • 1 tablespoon Aromi Santorini Sea spice blend

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 4 pita breads

  • 1 cup tzatziki

  • Lettuce, cucumber, tomato, red onion (optional, for stuffing)


Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Chicken:
    In a bowl, toss chicken with olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, Santorini Sea blend, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for extra flavour).

  2. Grill:
    Preheat a grill pan or BBQ to medium-high heat. Grill chicken for about 4–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Rest for a few minutes, then slice.

  3. Assemble:
    Warm the pitas slightly. Fill each pita with grilled chicken, a generous dollop of tzatziki, and your choice of fresh veggies.

  4. Serve:
    Wrap it up and dive in! Perfect for quick dinners, relaxed lunches, or easy entertaining.
